What I'm All About

Your copywriter standing standing on deck

If you don’t look good, I don’t look good. And I probably need all the help I can get in that department! 😉

Ready for Next-Level Marketing?

Hi! I’m David, and I’m something of a rarity these days. See, I’m a copywriter who genuinely cares about you, your business and your customers. I wouldn’t do this otherwise.

I’m not a “Make-a-profit-by-any-means-necessary” kind of guy. (If that’s what you’re after, go down the alley past the rusted brown dumpster, make a left and look in the alcove beneath the rickety, corrugated staircase.)

But I’m definitely all about people making a profit. Just, you know, without selling your soul.

So know this: We’re in this together. When you succeed, I succeed. Hint: I’m pretty big on success.

I’m a professional copywriter who pairs impeccable research with (pretty amazing) copy skills to craft your message. I write persuasive copy and content in your brand voice, with the kind of authenticity and integrity that engages, builds relationships, and boosts your bottom line.

Effective marketing is fun when it doesn’t sound sketchy, and that’s the only way I write. Don’t get me wrong. You’re in business to make money, so my focus is always going to be on conversions.

But we’re not pushing you on people. We’re letting them know that you have what they need. You can make their lives easier. And you’re right here, stretching out your hand to help.

Let’s introduce you to some people…and get you the growth you’ve been looking for!

And I’m not just happy you’re here; I’ve also got a pretty good guess about why you’re here.

You’ve got a business to run.

That means customers to serve, staff to manage, rollouts to plan…there’s a lot that goes into what you do. You bring the expertise. The creativity. The organization.

With all you’ve got going on, effectively marketing your business is a lot to heap onto that overflowing plate.

I get it.

There’s the strategizing, the research, the brainstorming – not to mention the actual writing – that are all necessary for a successful copywriting campaign.

It’s a lot.

But you’re in the right place. Because I can help. Like, seriously help – it’s what I do.

“David’s an excellent writer. He succeeded in taking on our brand voice very quickly… an all-around pleasure to work with. He’s got a great attitude, communicates well, is excellent with time management, and aims to please.”

– Lisa Warren, QualifIQ.

On a personal note...

Me at beach

I live in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and man, what a gorgeous part of the world! I’m about four hours from Glacier and five from the Pacific Coast, so I spend as much time at both of those places as I can. I mean, who wouldn’t?

My creative bent followed me from Detroit (born and raised) to the Pacific Northwest, so you’ll still find me strumming the guitar, taking pictures, and always writing something or other.

I decided to learn how to ski this year, and it took me two weeks to learn how to turn right! It was crazy! But once things clicked…so much fun!

I love to read. It’s almost a problem. Everything from John Irving to John Connolly. William Kent Krueger is my current jam, and if you haven’t read Bryn Greenwood yet, you should. (Though she’s not for the faint of heart.)

Finally, I am incredibly grateful to the men and women who taught me the art of copywriting. Seriously. How cool is it to have a career where I can help people share their message, build their livelihood, and live their dreams? Being of service is its own reward.

But, yeah, you still have to pay me.

Speaking of which, I would absolutely love to meet you. Let’s talk about what you’ve got going on, and see how I can help.
